We believe in Old-Fashion Bible At Trinity Baptist Church we believe, use, and recommend only one bible, the Authorized King James Bible. The Holy Spirit has placed His divine stamp of approval upon the KJB alone. The KJB Still stands above all as the absolute Final Authority for the English speaking people. It's doctrines are infallible and it's language is beautiful. We see no reason for a change. We Believe in Old Fashion Bible Preaching    Sermons from out pulpit are filled with Scripture, thus edifying the church continually. Through prayer and study, our Pastor always seeks the leadership of the Holy Spirit in selecting the proper messages for God's people. We still preach about the Precious Blood of the Lord Jesus, for it was the Blood that cleansed us from our sins. The doctrine of a burning Hell is preached at Trinity, for Jesus preached often of a burning lake of fire where sinners must spend Eternity. The Virgin Birth of Jesus and His Bodily Resurrection are firmly believed, taught, and preached, and His Glorious Second Coming is a common subject at Trinity Baptist Church. The many important subjects of the Bible, such as witnessing for Christ, Bible reading, Bible study, prayer, giving, missions, and Christian fellowship are all a part of the Old-Fashion Preaching at Trinity Baptist Church.          Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.   2Ti 4:2 We Believe in Old-Fashion Praying At Trinity, we  do not merely "say" prayers; we PRAY. The God of Peter, James, Paul, and John is the same God today. We believe He still answers prayer, for we see our prayers answered regularly. We pray for our sick, that they might recover. We pray for our Pastor and his family, that he might be the best possible leader. We pray for our teachers, and for those who sing in the church, that Christ may be glorified in all things. We pray for those suffering tragedy, that they may find comfort, and we pray for the lost, that they may find Christ. We are a Praying Church, for Jesus was and is a Praying Savior.        Praying always   with all prayer   and    supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance   and    supplication for all saints;    Eph 6:18 We Believe in Old-Fashion Singing We believe in PRAISE. Rev. 5:9 says, "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy Blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;"                                                                 They sung a new song saying:      A. Thou art worthy -----------------------------------songs of praise.      B. to take the book ----------------------------------songs of faith.      C. thou wast slain ------------------------------------songs of sacrifice.      D. thou hast redeemed us ----------------------------songs of redemption.      E. redeemed us to God ------------------------------songs of commitment.      F. redeemed us by thy Blood -------------------------songs of the Blood.      G. redeemed us out of the world ---------------------songs of separation.         We Believe in having a relaxed and clean  atmosphere where God can move and work in the hearts of people. The song services are good, for the Lord finds liberty to conduct the services as He sees fit.   We Believe in Old-Fashion Bible Teaching We use no pre-selected Sunday School Literature, except occasionally in our children's classes, for the word of God is most sufficient for our learning . Jesus said that we are to live by "every word" (Matthew 4:4); so we cover every word, verse by verse, in our Sunday morning Bible Studies. Our teachers believe and use only the King James Bible. We believe that all Christians should be Bible students, having a reasonably good understanding of God's word, that they might better represent their Lord and Savior while on this Earth.   We Believe in Old-Fashion Standards God's word never changes; therefore, our responsibility to obey His word never changes. Regardless of the ever-changing standards of the worldly crowd, the Bible must set out standards. Right is still right, and wrong is still wrong. We believe in the Old-Fashion Standards such as a close family life, respect for age, loyalty to those in authority, honesty, and good moral standards. We simply cannot subscribe to the New Age Standards, which have turned so many form God and His word.    WHEREFORE COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE SEPARATE SAITH THE LORD, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING 2 Corinthians 6:17   For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hbr 4:12   We Believe in Old-Fashion Salvation   We believe that Jesus Christ  is indeed " the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6), and that no one may enter Heaven without being washed from their sins in His sinless Blood. You may or may not wish to visit Trinity Baptist Church, but please understand that you MUST be saved for the Lord to add you to His church (Acts 2:47). No local church membership can save you from Hell. Jesus Christ died for your sins. He made the necessary payment for your sins. We read in II Corinthians 5:21, For he hath made HIM to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that WE might be made the righteousness of God in him." Because Jesus took YOUR sins, God can give you HIS  righteousness! This is why Romans 4:5  says, "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS."  Romans 4:8 tells us, "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin." What a blessing it is to have our sins paid for! All we have to do is place our total trust in the finished work of Christ, believing that nothing more is needed for our Salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT OF GOD: Not of works, least any man should boast." A sinner cannot "work" his way to Heaven, for Jesus has already FINISHED the work. On Calvary's cross, our Lord said, "It is finished" (John 19:30). So Salvation is a FREE GIFT. Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  We urge you to repent and place your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21 says, "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Place your total trust in Christ alone for your Salvation. The work has been finished, but the decision is your's. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED" (Romans 10:13) "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;" Hebrews 2:3 “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments. . .” Luke 16:23                  The Bible is clear — Hell is inside the earth! "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH.
